HOW TO WRITE OR REPAIR IMEI OF A PHONE USING SN WRITE TOOL AFTER FLASHING OR UNBRICKING.
Most phones lose their International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) after flashing / unbricking. This problem occurs due to damage of the NVRAM of the phone. When this occurs, the phone is unable to receive network from any service band. Mostly the phone will be displaying “Invalid IMEI”. You can check the for the phone’s IMEI status by dialing *#06#.
Whenever such problems occur to you, follow these simple steps to fix it easily by using SN write tool.
Write the phone’s IMEI number on a sheet of paper or in a notepad. The IMEI of a phone is mostly found written in the phone when the battery is removed. For phones with unremovable battery, it is written on the sticker placed on the battery.

After downloading cdc driver or Vcom driver and the SN write tool, follow the steps below.
Extract and install drivers and also SN Write Tool on your computer.
Locate SN Writer Icon and run it as administrator.
When launched, from the ComPort menu, select USB VCOM.
From the target menu, select SMART PHONE.
 Click on SYSTEM CONFIG.
From the write option menu, select IMEI.
From IMEI option menu, tick the number of IMEI you want to write (That depend on the on the number of SIM cards used by the phone).
Locate the database file menu, click on MD1_DB to load the database file. This file is comes with the firmware used to flash the phone. From the firmware folder it is the file that starts with BPLG.
From the same menu, click on AP_DB to load the other part of the database file. From the firmware folder it is also the file that starts with APDB.
Click on SAVE.
Now, click on the START.
Under the scan data, write the IMEI_1 and IMEI_2 (For dual SIM).
Click on OK button.
Now, you can connect the phone through USB after switching off the phone and hold the volume buttons to before connecting the cable. This will let the phone boot to “META MODE”.
Once IMEI writing is finished you will be able to see the Green Pass message.
